Today, December 1st we join others on World AIDS Day to demonstrate support for people living with HIV and in recognition of those who have died. Our North Philadelphia community is impacted by one of the highest incidences of HIV infection in the city.
Esperanza’s HIV Care Team provides compassionate, patient-centered medical care and support services to our more than 200 patients with HIV disease and AIDS, as well as community outreach, education and confidential HIV testing and counseling. All of our patients with HIV/AIDS have full access to all of Esperanza’s integrated services. Today is also #GivingTuesday, a global day for giving back.
