Amy Liao, DDS has practiced General Dentistry at Esperanza Health Center since 2009. Ms. Liao is a Canadian-born Taiwanese-American from the Detroit area. She likes it when her patients and co-workers teach/correct her Spanish. She also likes it when her patients and co-workers floss and brush their teeth every day. She enjoys working with the entire health care team at Esperanza in promoting improved health and quality of life of individuals and families.

Asya Marsh, DMD

Dentist

Asya Marsh, DMD joined Esperanza Health Center as a Dentist in October 2018. She is a graduate of the Western University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree and was a Dean’s List student. She also holds a Masters degree in Interdisciplinary Health Sciences from Drexel University, and Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Dental Hygiene from Old Dominion University. Says Dr. Marsh: “As I begin work at Esperanza I look forward to connecting with my patients, restoring oral health and sharing my faith. My new favorite pastime is singing to my baby daughter Ana and watching her smile and laugh.”

Davina Parathundil, DMD

Dentist

Davina Parathundil, DMD joined Esperanza Health Center as a Dentist in November 2018. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with a Certificate in Public Health from A.T. Still University, Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University. Says Dr. Parathundil: “My faith and a large network of healthcare providers led me to Esperanza since I firmly believe in the benefits of whole person healthcare. I enjoy educating my patients on caries prevention. It is amazing to be able to do this in the patients’ native language. I love seeing the change in my patients’ attitude toward their oral care and a marked improvement in their dental health.” In her free time, she enjoys listening to comedy podcasts as well as pretending to be able to dance salsa and play guitar.
