Rich Murphy, DDS

Rich Murphy, DDS joined Esperanza in 2023 as a General Dentist. He earned his BS at the University of Pennsylvania, and his DDS at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. After learning Spanish during his time in dental school, Dr. Murphy was looking for an opportunity to practice the language and was amazed by what he found at Esperanza. Drawn to Esperanza by its integration of Christ’s love in healthcare, Rich hopes to encourage his patients to dream big and that they know he believes in them. Bringing Matthew 12:34 to life, “From the fullness of the heart the mouth speaks,” he hopes the words he shares with his patients will make a difference in their lives. When he’s not working at Esperanza, Rich runs a private dental practice. He enjoys being a brother to seven and cousin to several dozen, exercising with friends, and reading (especially American Literature).
