Dhivya Pattaniyil, NP-C, CRNP, MSN

Dhivya Pattaniyil, NP-C, CRNP, MSN, is one of two nurses who joined Esperanza as part of our first Nurse Practitioner Residency, when the program began in 2025. She obtained her BSN from Drexel University and MSN from Thomas Jefferson University. Drawn by the organization’s Christ-centered mission and its devotion to North Philadelphia. Dhivya hopes to contribute to making our neighborhood a place where Christ’s love and mercy are seen clearly. Her hope is to be a part of the neighborhood of North Philadelphia, and make all of the city’s communities feel more connected with each other, overall. Outside of her work, Dhivya loves making chai. One of her favorite things to do is make chai for people, sit down with them and get to learn a little bit more about them. She loves walking trails, and she recently took up gardening as well. Two Bible verses that Dhivya carries with her and drives the work she does, are Philippians 4:6-8 and II Corinthians 12:9.
