Nicole Winter, CRNP
Nicole Peterson, CRNP joined Esperanza as part of our second cohort of our Nurse Practitioner Residency Program. She was drawn to Esperanza by the holistic model of caring for spiritual, physical and mental health, among communities that are underserved and overlooked by man, but precious to Jesus. She was also drawn by the Esperanza Team’s contagious and encouraging genuine love for Jesus and others. She hopes to be a vessel of God’s love, hope, joy, and grace, and to give as freely as she has received from God, and to also receive from God through all that is offered from those who work at Esperanza. Outside of work Nicole loves to spend time with family and new or old friends over coffee, table & card games, pickle ball, discussing God’s word, or enjoying the beauty of creation. One of her favorite things is to catch the sunrise or sunset, especially from an airplane or car window while traveling. Nicole’s favorite verses are John 15:4-5 because they remind her that Jesus is the source of all fruit and strength and life. She shared, “If I stay connected to him and remain in his love I will bear fruit, but apart from him I can do nothing and will have nothing to offer those I serve.”
