Francelis Alburquerque, LAMFT
Francelis Alburquerque, LAMFT recently joined Esperanza as a Behavioral Health Associate. Francelis shared, “Born in the small town of Esperanza, Dominican Republic. Living with Esperanza in Jesus Christ. Serving at Esperanza Health Center. It had to be!” She was drawn to Esperanza Health Center by its commitment to providing compassionate, whole-person care to underserved communities, which aligns closely with her passion for making mental services accessible. She hopes to make a meaningful impact by increasing access to compassionate and culturally responsive behavioral health care, and helping patients feel seen, heard and empowered in their healing. Outside of work, Francelis enjoys reading and spending time with her family. Her favorite verse is 2 Corinthians 1:4. Understanding how she has been comforted by God and how He can use her as an instrument to comfort others in their suffering is what inspires the work she does here at Esperanza.
