Carla Bowen, PA-C

Carla Bowen, PA-C, one of our newest Care Team Physician Assistants, earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science at Thomas Jefferson University, East Falls. Carla was enthusiastic about the opportunity to join Esperanza Health Center and be a part of its mission and commitment to living out the Lord’s promises through service. Inspired by the way faith, compassion, and excellence are woven into the care provided to the community, she hopes to make a meaningful contribution to the work EHC has faithfully carried out over the past several decades. Colossians 3:23-24 says, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.” This verse inspires Carla to provide high-quality, compassionate care-especially to individuals who are often overlooked or underserved — by caring for them with dignity, empathy, and excellence. Her hobbies outside of work include traveling, biking, trying delicious new foods, as well as spending quality time with family and friends, and worshipping with her sisters and brothers in Christ at Norristown Baptist Church!
