We welcome medical students/residents and nurse practitioner students for rotation opportunities at Esperanza Health Center. We have extensive experience in precepting students and residents at all levels of training.
Summer Medical Institute (SMI)
The Summer Medical Institute (SMI) Philadelphia is a three-week health outreach program sponsored by the Medical Campus Outreach (MCO) ministry of Christian Community Health Fellowship and hosted by Esperanza Health Center. SMI Philadelphia will take place June 20 – July 11, 2026.
Nurse Practitioner Residency Program
Esperanza Health Center’s Nurse Practitioner Residency Program is a full-time, 15-month, salaried position that provides a structured, supportive, and effective environment for new graduate nurse practitioners.
Student Mentoring
Our Student Mentoring Program seeks to equip students, in a deeper and more focused way than our general clinical rotations, to engage patients in underserved contexts with Christ-centered care.
