Substance use support<\/b> at Esperanza combines supportive counseling with medication to support the recovery of patients struggling with dependence on heroin, fentanyl, percocet and other narcotics.\u00a0 Medical and behavioral health providers utilize a holistic approach to integrate medical, emotional, social and spiritual aspects of recovery. Services are provided in both English and Spanish.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Esperanza\u2019s substance use support program is available at all of our sites:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

  For anyone interested in joining, they may come to either site for a pre-screen Monday through Friday, 9am- 3pm, to determine if they qualify for the program. An intake appointment will be given once qualification has been determined.<\/span><\/p>\n

  Qualifications to join include<\/span>:<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

  \n
  • Anyone 18 years or older<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Have chronic opioid use\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Willing to come to one of Esperanza\u2019s locations<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Willing to change their Primary Care Provider (PCP) to Esperanza\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Committed to supportive counseling appointments – group and individual<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Committed to regular medical follow up appointments<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Willing to provide urine samples at each appointment<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
